In North Bohemia, north of Prague, glass has been blown by hand for more than 750 years. Ozzaro carries that tradition into contemporary design, where light, colour and transparency lead every piece.

Every object starts as a drop of molten crystal. Colour comes from metal oxides worked into the glass by hand, so no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
A single sculpture, an anniversary gift or a series of business gifts for your clients: you choose the theme, the shape and the colour. Glass can be combined with metal or stone, and names or logos can be engraved or worked into the glass itself.
Sand, lime, soda and potash melt in the furnace into a glowing batch. The glassblower gathers it on a blowpipe and shapes it by breath and by hand, turning and reheating it again and again. After slow cooling, every piece is ground, polished and checked by hand.
Our studio works in North Bohemia, one of the oldest glassmaking regions in Europe. In our designs you will recognise the great glass houses of Murano, Orrefors and Iittala, and designers such as Bořek Šípek, Borowski and Svoboda, brought together in a style that is entirely our own.
